We are a small, friendly running club located in Highworth near Swindon, catering for runners of all ages and abilities. Whether you want to compete in races from 5K to Marathon or simply have a gentle jog and chat, you'll find someone to join in with.

We meet on various days through the week with a session dedicated to beginners at 18:00 every Wednesday evening. Wherever you run please ensure you follow the HRC code of conduct; this document also contains a few common sense guidelines and states the club policy on other areas.

Wickstead Wander

On a balmy Autumnal morning in north Wiltshire, a record number of runners descended on Highworth to compete in the ninth edition of our popular Wickstead Wander. As ever, it was pleasing to see so many entrants don fancy dress for the race, with outfits ranging from a dinosaur, a Scooby Doo, an Oompa-loompa, numerous Super heroes to a dozen Marilyn Monroe's (from RWBH). ALL proceeds from this race to the R.D.A; so with a record number of entrants we are pleased to announce we donated 1,200 to the charity.

Highworth 5 mile - date set

On Sun 8th April we will be holding our popular 5 mile race for the 33rd time and entries are NOW OPEN!! We are accepting both online entries and postal entries.

As well as being Race #1 in the Wiltshire Road Race League, this year the Highworth 5 has also been nominated as the Wiltshire County Championship 5 mile event.

NB: all finishers will get a technical t-shirt, but only entries received by 20th March will be able to guarantee their required size
